Buck and boost regulator using LM2578A

LM2578A can be used to make Buck and Boost regulator.

Buck or step down regulator

 

Vin = 15V
Vo = 5V
Io = 350 mA

Io = 140 mA

2. R2 = 10 kΩ

6. C2 = 470 μF
7. C3 = 20 pF
8. C4 = 0.0022 μF

You can use the above circuit drive series of LED and make an LED driver circuit using this.
