Simple 40 Watt Inverter using CD4047 

Parts Required

  1. IC CD4047
  2. 220v to 12-0-12v step down transformer
  3. Q1 and Q2 – BC337
  4. Q2 and Q3 – TIP3035
  5. R1,R2 – 470 ohm
  6. R3,R4 – 33k
  7. R5 – 150 ohm
  8. C1 – 100n
  9. C2 – 100u 16v
  10. 12v 2-4amp battery
  11. Fuse

Above is a very basic 40 watt invertor circuit.
